Day 78: Tourist Day!

Today was a tiring but really fun day. Karl and I decided to go down town to see all that we can see there as we never really went there much. We walked down at 9.30am and went into every possible shop and road we could find. There was such a lovely atmosphere. Everywhere was decorated with Christmas decorations and carols were playing too. We managed to get some stuff and we also went to this really well known ice-cream shop which has the best ice-cream on the island as well as some really cool souvenirs. They get anything that is well known and turn it into a cow theme as the name of the shop is called 'Cows'. Karl, for example, got a T-shirt of 'Pirates of the Cowibean'. With every purchase we made we got free ice-cream and it was delicious and we even got a picture with the cow!! At about 4.30pm we got the bus back as we were too tired to walk home and soon after Mr.Baldacchino came for us as we were invited to dinner. We had a really great evening and afterwards we wanted to take some pics and laughed so hard... timers seem to always do that. Anyway we were walking to our room on the way back and someone told us she saw Karl on the front page of the Entertainment section of the newspaper. We rushed to the petrol station across the road and bought the paper, and there he was ! It was about the play we are in and there were two really good pics of him during rehearsals. Tomorrow we have another rehearsal and I am really looking forward to it. I also have some work to do so up early!
