By official request... I'm back.

Oh my... what to say ? I haven't updated for about six weeks, but with good reason. I now know what it is like to make yourself sick with worry, to panic till you are about to faint, to have papers and books coming out of everywhere, to talk to about 25 people and know that only about 5 are listening to you, to yell till I'm hoarse, to have papers, dusters and books thrown at you, to get so nervous you want to scream and cry, to be so angry you could punch a wall, to be so happy you start skipping into a staffroom like an idiot... well basically, if you have no clue what is going on, I'll tell you. I just had six weeks of teaching practice. Yes, crazy, insane and well... indescribable. These six weeks have been ones where I have learnt so much, experienced every feeling under the sun and become so so close to a group of 11 other teaching practice students who I only knew by name till a while ago. Now the only thing I can think of is how much I am going to miss being in the staffroom with them for hours on end every single morning. Just another three days of teaching and then it's back to being a student! I can say that I have basically just existed these six weeks, living was never even considered. It was school from 8am - 2.30pm and lesson planning and printing from 3pm till midnight everyday. It was tough, but man was it an experience. Last night we had Prize Day and I think it was then that the stress of these six weeks came out. After everything there was a reception and we found a room to ourselves where we kind of went a little wild. Stress plus wine.... well let's just say it involved a photoshoot that went very wrong, two of my girlfriends getting married, and the planning of an end-of-teaching practice- party next Tuesday which I cannot wait for! We laughed so hard and now that I think about it, there wasn't anything that funny really! Heh. I enjoyed it though! My Maltese has now improved tremendously. I guess it's what happens when you are put in a Maltese speaking school, in a staffroom with three Maltese student teachers and five Gozitans! I think I even have the Gozitan twist to my Maltese!:P Anyway, this weekend I will be preparing the work for Monday and Tuesday and then I am done! Then I just have four assignments, my thesis and two exams left... nothing much!:( Anyway, I'll stop here, but I will be writing soon! A closing note... anyone who is of the opinion that teachers are in for the holidays and because we finish early, please don't come anywhere next to me cause I can't guarantee you'll leave on your feet. Love ya all!!
